“We were looking to improve our cold weather response plans. We trained teams to clear ice, salt and grit walkways, organised weather warning services and trained all our employees for awareness. What we still needed to trigger our plans was a clear warning system.

The ice guardian is perfect for that, set at 3 degrees it is now the recognised trigger for the action plans at all our sites across the UK. The products were delivered swiftly and active on the sites in an hour. Simple and effective solution”.

“We purchased the Ice Guardian sign for the site to make pedestrians aware when walkways could be icy. The service was excellent, delivery was quick and product is high quality.”

The Ice Guardian is an ideal indicator of cold conditions.

Elddis Transport use the signage in all depots.

The signs are clearly visible and as a result we can shut down our Heavy Duty truck wash and is an indicator to grit the yard ensuring Health and Safety on all sites at all times.

We purchased 3 of these for a client which are used in various car park and pedestrian areas, they perform just as described and the client is very happy.

The service received was first class, with shipping taking place in a matter of days.

The product itself is relatively easy to install. Once in place, the way it conveys a warning of ice is second to none. For this reason, we would strongly recommend this truly unique product to anyone. We will certainly continue to buy the Ice Guardian for many years to come.

In brief the product is excellent, gives a clear indication for risk of ice. Had them in place for 3 year now and not even had to change the battery… very low maintenance.

Here at Maltby Tarmac building products, we needed an accurate and easy method of indicating to anyone on arrival to site if they are entering a work zone which will be below freezing and there could be chances of ground frost or ice.

This tells the workforce that firstly we must take caution when entering site and exiting our vehicles and secondly that we must use grit salts on all walkways and roadways. This greatly reduces the risk of any slip trips or falls and vehicle collisions.

The perfect tool for this job is the ice guardian from limelight signs, clearly flashing giving a visible indication when arriving to site and easy to attach to any road signs on site.
